Study in Europe –

Why should I study in Europe?

Studying in Europe can be a great opportunity for personal and professional growth. The continent has a rich history, culture and tradition, which can provide a unique and diverse learning experience. Additionally, Europe is home to some of the world’s leading universities, offering a wide range of programs and research opportunities. Furthermore, the cost of living and tuition fees vary depending on the country, but in general, they are relatively lower compared to other developed countries. Additionally, studying in Europe can be an opportunity to learn a new language and immerse yourself in a different culture, which can be a valuable asset for your future career. Additionally, Europe is considered as one of the most diverse, tolerant and open-minded regions of the world. This allows students to develop a broader perspective, a more international mindset, and a better understanding of different cultures.

What should I keep in mind before thinking to apply in Europe?

  • Applications – Europe has two intakes – with different application deadlines. EU and non- EU students have separate deadlines and also based on the subjects or vacancy. For non EU students, preparation must be started a year ahead.
  • Fees – For PhD programs several European universities do not charge any fees based on the program. You must first select the area of research and check if which EU countries provides such relaxation.
  • Your Qualification – In Europe, A Master’s Degree is counted as 120 ECTs i.e., 2 years of FullTime Master’s program. Caution- some institute may ask thesis or may not.
  • What about Visa– You must apply for a long term residence permit. Depending on the country you will be asked whether to apply it in advance or after arrival.
  • Language – Many institutes have English language Programs and therefore you must be able to find the right one.
